This Saturday at 12 noon the downtown movie matinee returns to Peoria! The Apollo Theatre presents an excerpt of “Star Wars: Clone Wars” (animated) and an original episode of “Star Trek” (“The Corbomite Maneuver”) before the showing of “Galaxy Quest,” the 1999 film starring Tim Allen and Sigourney Weaver. All for just $3 a seat! Plus free ice cream from the Spotted Cow!
Other matinee films will be the great western Shane at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 12, and classic comics including W.C. Fields, Laurel & Hardy, and Harold Lloyd at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 2. |
